A HAJJ SIMULATION PROGRAMME FOR 13 TO 18 YEAR OLDS
Hajj is a very important act of worship that has been regulated since the time of Prophet Ibrahim A.S which later was also practised by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Hajj, is one of the 5 pillars of Islam which Muslims must perform it if they are capable. This act of worship was done by the Prophet ﷺ and his companions even though they faced many challenges.
Ahlan Deen Camp : A Journey of Faith and Courage will focus on the history of the regulation of Hajj, the challenges faced by earlier Muslims, the methods of performing Hajj, the ways to appreciate the essence of Hajj, and other acts of worship that can be done during Hajj (e.g. Qurban, Aqiqah, or Umrah). The programme will be conducted in two learning and teaching; theoretical and practical.
Participants will be taught about Hajj according to authentic sources of Islamic knowledge especially from the Quran and Sunnah. They will also learn the steps of performing Hajj through interactive simulation. This programme highlights a holistic learning session, not only through theoretical aspect with comprehensive materials, but also providing various interesting activities to understand what is Hajj.
