What will the participants receive from this programme?

Participants will receive a workbook and can take home the arts and crafts they created during the session. They will enjoy fruitful lessons and leave with joyful, smiling faces! ​​​

I have a 5 year old child can he/she enter? 

While the programme is designed for children aged 6 years old, 5-year-olds are also welcome to participate as long as they can comprehend English and follow instructions. We highly encourage children who are 5 years and 6 months old (turning 6) to join us! However, we do not recommend the programme for children younger than 5, as the content may not be suitable for that age group. 

Can parents sit in the programme? 

At Ahlan Academy, we prioritize the focus of both the storyteller and the participants during the programme. Therefore, we recommend that parents do not attend the sessions, as our experience shows that children may have difficulty concentrating when their parents are present. We typically invite parents to join us during the presentation sessions. If parents would like to participate in the Ahlan Storysack program, they are welcome to join during the arts and crafts or fun games sessions. 

What are the requirements for a child to join the programme? 

There are no specific requirements for participation, as long as the child can understand English and comprehend instructions without disrupting the session. If they can do that, everything should be just fine! 

Why can’t 10 years old join the Programme? 

We believe that 10-year-olds today are capable of engaging with deeper content. While Ahlan Storysack was designed for younger children, we want to ensure that 10-year-olds don’t feel overlooked when the programme focuses on smaller kids. Therefore, we kindly suggest that they consider waiting for other programs that may be better suited to their interests and developmental level.
